To be updated...

OCTOBER 2014

P6 & P7 are really enjoying their topic - Titanic. We have found out so many facts. To help us with our ongoing challenges we are looking for old shoe boxes and any other materials that we could use eg. cardboard, scraps of material etc. Thank you. Mrs McKeegan & Mrs McWhirr

NOVEMBER 2014

P6 are continuing on their Epic Titanic adventure. Everyone has brought in their fantastic 3D models. A lot of hard work! I am looking forward to hearing all about the building process.

JANUARY 2015

P6 & P7 are boarding R.M.S. Titanic for afternoon tea to celebrate what they have learned throughout their fabulous topic. Ship ahoy!

FEBRUARY 2015

P6 & P7 held a very successful afternoon tea to round off their Titanic topic - pictures to follow.

As Titanic sinks to the bottom of the Atlantic, P6 are off on another adventure around Europe. We will be looking at some of the countries before finding out about the Scottish Parliament and the EU.

All children have also been given a Project to complete about a country of their own choosing. This should be handed in on Thursday 26th February.

SEPTEMBER AND OCTOBER 2015

Primary 6 continue to enjoy Bikeability and are behaving safely and responsibly. We are aiming to have completed Bikeability before the October holidays.

Primary 6 also recently enjoyed a visit from Andrew and Frazer from Inverclyde Food Bank. We are very excited to visit them on Tuesday to continue our learning!

TRIP TO THE BEACON

Primary Six are very excited about a trip to the Beacon Arts Centre to watch a performance of 'The Lost Things' as part of The Creative Learning Conference.

Currently P6 are enjoying swimming every Thursday at Port Glasgow Pool and are looking forward to a block of rugby leading up to a Rugby Festival.

Our topic this term is Europe and we are using the film 'Inside Out' to inspire a health and wellbeing 'Emotions' unit.
